協會簡介 Introduction
愛之光致力於「護眼防盲和視障多元職能培力」工作，在服務的過程，我們接觸了許多中途失明的朋友。常聽著他們說，如果平時懂得愛護自己的眼睛，可以提早發現自己眼睛的問題，早一點看醫生，就可以避免失去視力的遺憾了。當我們聽著他們心情分享的過程中，讓我們更確定，愛之光所努力的「護眼防盲」工作是一定要的。我們的創會理事長 廖友義先生 曾經接觸過許多視障朋友，在相處互動過程中，他了解到當失去視力的同時，就可能會失去曾經努力過的一切，所以有了愛之光的成立，也集結了一群有志一同的護眼志工，共同投入「護眼防盲和視障多元職能培力」的工作，開啟了我們護眼的行動。
Introduction to the Association
The Light of Love Association is dedicated to pursuing “eyecare and blindness prevention.” When serving people, we have met many people who became visually challenged later in life. We have often heard them say that if they had known how to protect their eyes in their daily life, they would have noticed problems with their eyes as soon as possible; if they had consulted a doctor sooner, they could have avoided losing their eyesight. As we listened to their stories, we became more certain that “eyecare and blindness prevention” is something that deserves more attention.
Our founding chairperson, Mr. Liao, You-Yi, had contacted many visual impaired people. On interacting with them, Mr. Liao learned that along with the loss of eyesight came the loss of everything one has ever striven for. Therefore, the Light of Love Association was established and gathered together a group of like-minded volunteers who share the same ambition. They jointly devoted themselves toeyecare work, initiating the movement.
